B) Baring two program ( Computer Science ) there was no Entrance Test deployed in the admission process under Liberal Arts, Science and Commerce. During the present academic year 2018-19 , I successfully initiated and introduced UGPET and PGPET entrance exams to all UG and PG programs under Liberal Arts, Science and Commerce streams, First time with Centres at Delhi , Colcota, Patna , Lucknow, Bhopal, Ahmedabad , Surat , Indore , Raipur , Mumbai , Nagpur , Kolhapur ( 16 centres).


C) Able To Attract Students From 25 States ( Pan India Students for LASC) Liberal Arts , Science and Commerce faculty was attracting students from around 10 -12 states . This year happy to inform you that , we could attract students from 25 states of India . This has happened first time in the history of Arts, Science and Commerce.


D) Tripled The Income of LASC : As MIT-WPU is the private university, it was essential to generate resource for sustainability of programs. In Arts, Science and Commerce fee structure of all programs was very low. It was in the range of Rs.35000 to 75000. only one program of Mass Communication and Journalism was above one lakh ). I took a drive and drastically revised fee structure and introduced new fee structure with 11 programs with fee of one lakh and above including 5 programs with fee structure above 2 lakh , first time in the history of Arts, Science and Commerce.My ambitious Income Goal was to increase the receipt three times in one year , after my joining MIT-WPU last year in the June 2017and I am proudly putting on record that within one year I could achieve that successfully.

The total income of Arts , Science and Commerce was 8 to 9 cr. and this academic year(2018-19) under my leadership it is going to be 24 cr. . After completing the graduation program of 3 years in 2019-20 our income will be 50 cr. per year .


E) Three Times Increase In Demand of Admission During last academic year ( 2017-18) till the end of May 2017 number of applications sold for Arts, Science and Commerce was 275 and for forthcoming academic year 2018-19 until end of May 2018 number of applications sold is going to be above 1500 . The total number of applications sold last year ( 2017-18) was in all 1992 . The number of applications during 2018-19 will be enough to indicate increased demand , which is going to be 5000-6000 which will be three times more , during current academic year.

F) University Level Responsibilities and Task Completed Successful Implementation of
Rural Immersion Program


1) In the capacity of Director , Rural Immersion Program it was designed as per the directives of Executive President Rahul Karad . Program was designed and described as B TO I ( Bharat to India ) : India ( Urban youth) will learn from Bharat ( Rural India). The program was planned in an unique and innovative way incorporating Service Based Learning ( SBL) , Research Based Learning ( RBL) by doing Village Development Study and Baseline Rural Household Survey of 40 villages and Project Based Learning ( PBL ) by way of providing solutions to community and village problems. Model of ICE ( Information, Communication and Education) was deployed for Rural Immersion Program. More than 3000 students participated in this program by visiting , staying and studying 40 villages. The biggesat achievement of this program is , it has changed the mindset of students and even teachers. I proudly put on record that , I could do that successfully with the proactive support of the Deans and teachers of respective institutions.


2) Run For Peace : Celebration of International Day of Peace I suggested the idea to celebrate UN’s International Day of Peace and Executive President immediately approved it and was executed successfully on MIT-WPU level.


3) Launch of MIT-WPU TIMES Newsletter: I introduced the publication of MIT-WPU TIMES as the Campus Newsletter produced by students, particularly of Mass Communication. Three issues per month are published with good response of students , guests and staff.

4) Launch of “Idea “: Journal
As directed by Executive President Rahul Karad, in the capacity of the Editor I have launched IDEA – Journal of Higher Learning of MIT-WPU under the guidance of Professor Dr. Jay Gore .


5) Establishment of “Sustainable Development Goals Volunteers Club” ( SDGVC ) of University Students : Innovative Students Club first of its kind in India committed to propagate UNO’s SDGs ( Sustainable Development Goals ) was established with my idea , as MIT-WPU is committed to SDGs . More than 100 students of MIT-WPU became members of this
unique SDGVC Club. The members students have conducted many activities of social work under this banner. Students generated financial support to Sevalaya, Latur based
NGO working for HIV Affected children and also conducted other events.


6) Establishment of Writers’WEB : With my initiation and Idea , an unique platform for creative students Writers of MIT-WPU Was established in the first year of MIT-WPU. Under this we have undertaken programs of “Interaction With Writer “ programs are arranged by inviting writers . This Writers Web club was inaugurated by veteran writer Javed Akhtar and Actress Ms. Shabana Azmi. More than 100 students of MIT-WPU are members of this Writers Web.With my idea and initiation students creative writers of MIT-WPU are working on an innovative Collaborative Novel Writing activity.


7) Film Club : I initiated and established Film Club at MIT-WPU, it was inaugurated by acclaimed Actress Ms. Shabana Azami.


8) Country-wise International Film Studies Festival Activity : With the idea of Veteran Editor and journalist R. N. Bhaskar , we have organised Film Festival in February to April 2018 of Israel , China, Argentina. MIT-WPU level Film Screening was also conducted apart from this.


9) Sarpanch Parishad -Meet : First Sarpanch Parishad-Meet was organised in collaboration with Zilla Parishad , Pune, I was the convenor of the same. In this Sarpanch Parishad more than 110 directly elected Sarpanchs of Pune district were present and they actively participated in half day Rural Development orientation. The important highlight of this Sarpanch Parishad was more than 60 % were Women Sarpanchs.


10) Sarpanch Parishad ( Latur) : As per directives and assignment given by Executive President Rahul Karad Sir with the short notice of 10 days Marathwada Sarpanch Parishad was organised at Latur under my leadership and in collaboration and support of Divisional Commissioner Dr. Purushottam Bhapkar and CEO Zilla Parishad , Latur . The awards to 10 Progressive Farmers of Marathwada delivered at the hands of Rural Development expert Popatrao Pawar and Executive President Rahul Karad sir. It was a grand success activity and more than 350 Sarpanchs of Marathwada and Solapur district participated in this event.
